What should you expect?

You should expect to become self sufficient ASAP. We help you. We outfit you. We give you money when times are hard and good gear if we have it on hand. We teach you the game, offer pointers, advise on hunting grounds. We dont play FOR you.

You should expect to extend all of the courtesies listed here to every single member of our guild, direct vassal or not. You should kick in twards the the maintenence costs on the Mansion. You should expect to contribute to the pool of trade goods/rare drop items/trophy stuff maintained on our Monarch's vast assortment of mules. Hey YOU needed it... next time someone else will. Pay it forward if you can.

Oh, and our Monarch Gandolfv would like plats for his birthday. Feel free to bribe pay tribute to his mightyness..

What will I do for you?

First and foremost, I'll be your friend. My vassals are all my freinds. My patron is my freind. Ask him, he'll tell you, I used to refuse to take stuff from him. All members of my House are my freinds, even the ones I haven't met yet. When I have time, i'll take you hunting or questing. I'll try to powerlevel you over the rough patches in leveling.I try to keep an eye on your playstyle and find places that will work best for you. If I come across some nifty Item I know you can use and is better than what you've got I'll give it to you. If you earn it by trying to do stuff yourself. If i'm in a good mood. I will help you out.

Gimme money/armor/uber gear!

WHY? I gave you stuff already. I give you stuff as I find it. You need money? Hrmmm.

A) you're a mage stepping up to a new level and those new scarabs and scrolls are expensive. Here's a couple notes to tide you over.

B) You just got a new school and need to pay for that foci. Here ya go, hard cold pyreal.

C) Your vassals are sucking you dry and you have no time to hunt for yourself. I can sympathize *ducks*. How much you need?

D) You're a new archer/fletcher/alchemist/cook/bot. One wad, coming up.

E) You cant be bothered looting your kills? That loot is heavy? This is where I laugh in your face.

Gimme buffs!

I am not your buffbot. Want a buffbot? Go to sub and pay the plat. In the meantime, may I suggest you learn to play on your own and actually learn...oh, I dunno...skill and tactics instead of whining and bitching?

I am here to help. If you're in trouble, I will try and help get you out of it. This includes buffing you if you get in a bad spot, and coming out to help (or sending someone else to help) if you've got a recovery you can't handle alone. This does not however mean that the entire monarchy drops everything to form a posse because your stupid 24th level ass decided those diamond golems needed bitchslapping. Bitch, you've been slapped. Deal.

But I lost my XXXXXX!!!

EXCUSE ME? How did you just happen to LOSE an AL 200 hauby? Or ANOTHER +133 Yumi? You need death items? Tell me. You have a body you can't get? Ask for help. You'd be surprised at how easy it is to get help on a corpse recovery if you ask politely and dont spam in d00dsp3@l<. You really honestly tried and have the vitae to prove it? *sigh* OK, let me see what I've got muled... maybe the boss man has something. In the mean time, lets fix that vitae.

Oh, and should you complain about armor I give you being ugly dont expect to be given ugly stuff. Especially not that ugly as sin AL 242 Amuli coat that your level 22 toon wont see the likes of for another thirty levels. Shut up, accept it with grace if the stats are good and find some dye.

What the hell do you want from me?!?!!?

I want you to be cool. I want you to play the game, not macro it. I want you to adventure with honor, and not bring shame to our House by greifing, grifting, scamming, spamming or making a nuisence of yourself to other players, either in or out of our guild. I want you to help out a fellow player if he/she asks politely and seems to really need it. I want you to do whats fun for you.. solo hunting, group hunting, dungeon diving, exploring, PK, tradeskill crafting, questing or just hanging around the mansion chatting with whoever turns up. I want you to not get robbed of this rich and wonderful game the guys at Turbine have created for us by breezing through it so fast you miss all the good stuff.

And I want you to raise that loyalty stat every now and then if I'm doing a good job. Think you can handle all that?
